A01 Residences
The form of A01 Residences emerges from the interplay of distinct volumes—pitched and flat roofs, voids, and solid masses—each carefully articulated to reflect spatial function. This rhythmic juxtaposition creates a dynamic visual identity while maintaining a sense of calm and balance within the overall architectural composition.
Layering and segmentation allow light and air to move freely through the structure, blurring the boundary between inside and out. Terraces, skylights, and open corridors are integral to this form, responding to climate while shaping meaningful spatial transitions throughout the house.

At our studio, conceptual model studies like this are a foundational part of the design process. They allow us to move beyond drawings—to physically and visually engage with volumes, proportions, and spatial connections, helping us anticipate how users will experience the space in three dimensions.
This hands-on exercise enables early detection of planning conflicts and spatial inefficiencies. We use these models not only to test architectural ideas, but to refine them—ensuring that structure, light, and movement are thoughtfully considered long before construction begins.
Such studies reflect our studio’s deep investment in precision and process. At Parag Gemnani + Architects, design is not just about aesthetics—it’s about making informed, intuitive decisions. These models serve as tools for clarity, allowing architecture to evolve with both intent and intelligence.
