Casa SE
Nestled in the quiet interiors of Madhya Pradesh, Casa SE stands as a thoughtfully crafted retreat for its inhabitants. Designed for a family of seven, the home brings together three generations under one roof, shaping a living environment that is both intimate and adaptable. Every space is curated to reflect the rhythm of its occupants from shared family zones to pockets of privacy for each member. The house is envisioned as a calm, grounded sanctuary that responds sensitively to its context while nurturing the lifestyle of those who reside in it.

The design evolved through multiple iterations to arrive at a clear, efficient floor plan rooted in comfort and practicality. Though compact, the home feels open and bright thanks to strategically placed skylights that draw in soft daylight while keeping out the harsh sun. The façade follows the same logic; subtle, functional, and contemporary; using simple lines and natural tones to blend seamlessly with its surroundings.
Tight site conditions and budget constraints shaped the project toward clarity, restraint, and intentional detailing. At its core sits a double-height living space that brings in generous ventilation and establishes a calm, inward-facing character for the entire home. Responding to the client’s brief for a light-filled multigenerational residence, the material palette remains simple and honest; a clean plaster façade accented with stone and metal. Together, these elements create a home that is efficient, grounded, and quietly expressive of the family’s way of life.
